Bologna, June 18, 2025 – Pure energy , free creativity, jazz interplay with the melancholy of the blues and the euphoria of soul . Music without distortions for the eleventh edition of Reno Road Jazz organized by the Unione Reno Galliera with the label of Sandro Comini , trombonist and orchestra director: ten rendezvous spread across the municipalities of the Bassa Bolognese .

It continues tomorrow evening (9:30 pm) – after the debut in Bentivoglio, at the Corte del Castello – in Piazza Martiri della Liberazione in San Pietro in Casale with the project «Lucius in fabula» inspired by Comini who reweaves in jazz style the epic of Lucio Dalla , from «Caruso» and «Futura» to «Anna e Marco». With the leader Silvia Donati (vocals), Guglielmo Pagnozzi (clarinet), Marco Vecchio (alto sax), Max Turone (double bass), Stefano Calzolari (piano) and Roberto Rossi (drums).

On June 26th at Villa Beatrice di Argelato it will be the turn of the trio of jazz and soul singer Sandra Cartolari with the project «Round the World». At Castello d'Argile Mascarino the eclecticism of Checco (Coniglio) and Friends will burst into action in «Two Trombones in a Summer Night»: the other trombonist, needless to say, is Comini ( July 3rd ) who shares the stage with Nico Menci on the piano, Luca Cantelli on the double bass and Claudio Bonora on the drums.

Unmissable dates: Michael Harding's band (drums) plus the voice of Francesca Marchi in San Giorgio di Piano ( July 10 ); Sandro Comini Jazz Friends in Galliera which pays homage to animated cinema ( July 17 ); Marco Vecchio quartet in Castel Maggiore with Mediterranean arias ( 24 ). Research singer-songwriters: Olivia Foschi trio ( 31 ) in the Rocca di Pieve di Cento and Rossella Cappadone quartet at the Casa della Musica in San Pietro in Casale ( August 6 ). The Double Soul Trio for the voice of Marina Santelli, singer and backing vocalist, closes the festival on August 14 in Piazza Amendola in Castel Maggiore , sharing the stage with Biondi, Mietta and Ridillo.
