“Rockin' Pioltello“, the city also participates in the Music festival that greets the summer throughout the country. And it will do so next Saturday in grand style with the “big concert“ at the Central Park, featuring, “the charge of 100“ musicians and singers of all ages, professionals and amateurs, arriving from the hinterland. They responded to the call of the Administration in the spring and having passed the selections, they will all perform together, on the same songs, just like a single large rock orchestra. A small Woodstock. Leading them, on a large stage set up in the center, the band of Marta Viola, a young talent in the Italian music scene, singer and guitarist, who won over the public and the jury by winning, at just 14 years old, the first edition of “Io canto Generation“, the talent show that launched her towards a brilliant future on the most important stages. "It will be a great celebration of Music - says Mayor Ivonne Cosciotti, who has kept the Culture delegation for herself - not only a moment of celebration of this art, but also an occasion for strong social aggregation. One hundred artists, including amateur and professional musicians and singers, will test themselves on a large stage playing all together. A great sign of participation and at the same time of the ability of a city to offer unusual shows and opportunities". Pioltello has been part of the circuit of the National Music Festival for some years now "this event, a classic born in France way back in 1982 and landed shortly after in Italy - she adds - with Piano City, our musical festival and since last year also JazzMi, demonstrate the sensitivity and great attention of the city for high-level events, part of a cultural journey that we have been undertaking for some time, decisive for the community". "Rockin' Pioltello" was born thanks to the collaboration with the Quattrocentoquaranta association, which manages the Civico Istituto Musicale Giacomo Puccini under the artistic direction of Barbara Bonelli. Their task is to transform the event into an unforgettable show. Saturday, June 21st at 9 pm. Free admission.
