The 1000 Miglia has started: 419 crews in the race challenge Vesco-Salvinelli

Great enthusiasm for the start of the 1000 Miglia in the first municipalities touched by the Red Arrow. At 12:30, the 420 competing cars set off from the catwalk on Viale Venezia, with a tribute in the sky from the Navy helicopter in honor of the partnership signed with Mille Miglia. Great applause for Andrea Vesco and Fabio Salvinelli, reigning winners, who this year could be challenged by other favorites, such as Mario and Lorenzo Turelli, Gianmario Fontanella and Anna Maria Covelli, and the Argentine Juan Tonconogy with Barbara Ruffini (winner in 2019, before Vesco's string of first places). Among the crews, also the charity car of La Zebra Odv, which aims to raise funds for a latest-generation ultrasound scanner for the Children's Hospital of Brescia, but also the Brescia Committee of the Red Cross which, like last year, will meet the committees of the cities crossed for the symbolic delivery of the Blue Shield (a project that in Brescia started in the year of Capital of Culture). The city will welcome the return of the Red Arrow on June 21, with the Music Festival.
