Raffaella Ammirati wins the 2025 Sime Award

The journalism award of the Italian Society of Aesthetic Medicine (Sime), entitled Carlo Alberto Bartoletti, was assigned to Raffaella Ammirati, editor of Adnkronos Salute. The award, as stated in the motivation, "for having written a journalistic article on the role of artificial intelligence in aesthetic medicine using impeccable and at the same time easy to understand terminology. A timely and clear contribution to correct journalistic information in a sector, such as aesthetic medicine, often the victim of fake news".
Ammirati, for the press agencies, won the award ex aequo with Manuela Correra of Ansa. For the radio-television, web and online services section the award went to Margherita Lopes of Fortune, former journalist of Adnkronos Salute.
"This 2nd edition of the award - said Emanuele Bartoletti, president of Sime - was a success beyond our wildest expectations, with the participation of journalists from all over Italy that forced us to do a demanding job and make choices that were, to say the least, 'painful'. The jury's decisions, as required by the rules, are unquestionable. This year too, 3 'historical' journalists in our sector were awarded the prizes".
