Who is Cristina Plevani, from winner of the first Big Brother to triumph on the Island of the Famous

Cristina Plevani is the winner of the 19th edition of L'Isola dei Famosi which ended yesterday, July 2. The castaway for the final wore the same shirt she wore 25 years ago at the debut of Big Brother, where she later triumphed.

“I felt out of place, out of place, but I thank all the castaways, even those who don’t like me. We were still a group. Thank you for giving me this second chance. This is the second train and this time there’s no way I’m getting off. It’s not the icing on the cake, but a big ball of profiteroles!”, she declared.

Cristina Plevani was born on June 17, 1972 in Iseo , in the province of Brescia. In 2000, at the age of 27, she was among the contestants of the first edition of Big Brother hosted by Daria Bignardi . Nicknamed "Sad Cinderella", she is remembered for her relationship with Pietro Taricone .

Cristina Plevani has always avoided talking about their relationship but in 2017, on the anniversary of the actor's death, she published a photo accompanied by a caption in which she said: "I remember the evening it was taken. A year or two had passed since our experience and we had decided to meet for dinner, in Rome, far from everything and everyone. No media, no onlookers, no gossip, no fuss. Just a dinner with friends. So many laughs. What memories. My mind has removed a lot of that period. I don't know why. Maybe the events that followed were too many and buried that period in remote corners of my mind. The fuss and the competition had separated us, the years have passed and maybe today we are mature enough to be able to see each other again and look at each other with the eyes of then. I proudly say that the boys of Big Brother are only us".

After the reality show, Cristina Plevani has participated in several television programs. In fact, she is a regular guest on Buona Domenica and in 2001 she hosted the program Tutto questo è Beautiful . She also posed for the magazine Max and was a radio speaker for RTL 102.5 and then on LikeRadio Music&Passion. In 2001, she was a correspondent for Verissimo at the Sanremo Festival and then a tronista on Uomini e Donne in 2004.

Today Cristina Plevani is a first and second level FIN instructor and fitness and hydro bike teacher in the Brescia area but after her success on Isola dei Famosi she could start a new adventure on TV.
