Chelsea donate part of Club World Cup prize to Diogo Jota's family.

Chelsea have announced that part of their Club World Cup winning prize money will be donated to the families of Diogo Jota and his brother André Silva , who both died in a car accident in Spain on 3 July.
The prize for each playerSuccess in the new FIFA tournament played in America has earned the English club approximately $114 million (almost €100 million). The players will split $15.5 million (€13.2 million) in bonuses, and in agreement with the team, Chelsea has decided that an equivalent sum (just over $500,000) will be donated to Jota's family.
Liverpool's initiativesMeanwhile, Liverpool, the club where Jota played since 2020, scoring 65 goals in 182 games, has launched a series of initiatives to pay tribute to the player. In addition to a commemorative mosaic and a minute's silence during the opening matchday of the Premier League against Bournemouth, the Reds announced the construction of a commemorative sculpture at Anfield.
