Club World Cup: Boca Juniors-Benfica 2-2

The Argentines of Boca Juniors and Portuguese side Benfica drew 2-2 in their debut match at the Club World Cup. The match was played at the Hard Rock Stadium of Miami. The yellow and blues took advantage of the first minutes of the game to score two goals with Merentiel (21') and Battaglia (27'). In the recovery of the first half the "Argentine" Di Maria has closed the gap on penalty (48') for Benfica. Finally the The equaliser for the Portuguese was scored by another Argentine, the experienced defender Otamendi (84'). Worth mentioning Belotti's expulsion in the 72nd minute for a foul. In the final Figal of Boca Juniors was also sent off.
