Events - Archivifuturi 2025: the fourth edition of the festival opens the archives of Enzo Pagani in Castellanza - Archive - Varese News

The fourth edition of ARCHIVIFUTURI – Festival degli Archivi del Contemporaneo , promoted by the Ma.Ga Museum in Gallarate, confirms the growing valorization of the cultural heritage of the 20th and 21st centuries in the area between Alto Milanese and the province of Varese. The initiative, which since 2022 has been able to consolidate an innovative model of territorial cultural enjoyment and which is part of the calendar of “L'estate in Città”, the summer cultural agenda organized by the Municipality of Castellanza, will be in Castellanza, at the Pagani museum, on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th. On both days, at 11:30 and 15:00, the museum will offer exclusive guided tours, focused on the multifaceted figure of Enzo Pagani : artist, merchant, collector and patron.
The tour route winds through the characteristic sculpture park, a permanent artistic installation that hosts hundreds of works including sculptures and mosaics , subsequently extending to the Archive that preserves documents, materials and works by the master. The professionals who collaborate with the property will accompany visitors through the proposed routes. "The Pagani Collection, a reality that makes our city a destination for contemporary art enthusiasts, reflects and restores the spirit of the person who created it - says the Councilor for Culture and Education of the Municipality of Castellanza, Davide Tarlazzi -. Enzo Pagani, as well as an artist, was also a gallery owner and therefore his collection introduces the visitor to the cultural climate of decades in which Milan was an artistic center of primary importance. The visit to this site, where the works are placed in relation to a natural environment shaped by man, does not leave indifferent and always offers reasons for amazement. I am pleased to note that the work carried out in recent years by the municipal administration together with the owners to put this reality in a network with significant supra-municipal circuits, continues to produce interesting proposals".
Participation requires a contribution of €10.00 for adults, €7.00 for over 75s and people with disabilities , €5.00 for under 16s with free admission up to 8 years.
