Fattucchio's Scarpinata, two hundred runners running at Pian degli Ontani

Abetone Cutigliano (Pistoia), August 15, 2025 – The Scarpinata del Fattucchio returns to Pian degli Ontani, an unmissable event for runners who love sports and contact with the most authentic and wild nature. Over 210 participants made the event a success, competing in the 11.5 km competitive distance, while many others took part in the 5.5 km recreational walk.

The route passed through the villages of Pian degli Ontani and Pian di Novello, winding through the Pian degli Ontani Biogenetic Forest and offering breathtaking views along the Sestaione stream, until reaching the foot of the legendary Torre del Fattucchio. The finish line was located in the central Piazza dell'Acerone. The race, under the aegis of the UISP Pistoia, was organized by the Pro Loco of Pian degli Ontani in collaboration with the ASD Silvano Fedi. After the race, thanks to the Pro Loco, many athletes were able to enjoy lunch together, an opportunity to rekindle friendships and share convivial moments in the pleasant cool of the Pistoia Apennines.
