Federer returns to the court at the Shanghai Masters, playing an exhibition doubles match.

Roger Federer returns to Shanghai, and never mind if it's just an exhibition. As in 2024, the Swiss champion, who retired in 2022, will headline the "Roger & Friends Celebrity Doubles Match," a doubles event alongside Chinese actors Donnie Yen and Leo Wu, as well as former tennis player Jie Zheng, the 2006 Australian Open and Wimbledon doubles champion.

See you on October 10th, during the Shanghai Masters 1000. Federer will play on Center Court at the Qizhong Forest Sports City Arena. "I'm happy to tell you that I'll be playing doubles in Shanghai, which is always a special place for me and the fans. See you on October 10th, I'm waiting for you," Roger told fans via the tournament's social media channels.
