Field Hockey, the Serie B schedule: debut against Pumas Viareggio

Prato, August 17, 2025 - The season opener is scheduled for October 5th in the Coppa Italia Serie B against CP Grosseto (following a match against Follonica on October 11th). The league debut will instead be on January 6th, 2026, against Pumas Viareggio. These are the first steps in Hockey Prato's season, which, despite a strong season in Serie A2, will restart from Serie B in 2025/26. President Massimiliano Giardi had announced that Hockey Prato would not participate in the upcoming Serie B championship (despite finishing sixth last year) and would instead restart from Serie B, based on the regulation requiring A2 teams to field a second team in the lower division. And so it will be: there will be plenty of time, too, since (cup aside) the important thing will be to be ready for the start of the new year. Having said that, in group E the Pumas will then face Follonica (24 January) Viareggio (31 January) Rotellistica Camaiore (7 February) CP Grosseto (21 February) and CGC Viareggio (1 March) before preparing for the return round starting again with Pumas Viareggio.
