Myrtha Pools in Singapore for more sustainable performance

Myrtha pools feature exclusive modular stainless steel technology and combine flexibility, precision, and sustainability. These technical solutions are suitable for both permanent and temporary structures, which are increasingly in demand by international sports organizers for economic reasons.
What sets temporary pools apart, in particular, is their post-event potential: they're designed to be reinstalled and can be transferred to local swimming centers after the event, leaving a tangible legacy for grassroots sport and swimming development. And that's exactly what Singapore will do.
Economic and environmental sustainability. In line with the innovations presented at the Paris Olympic Games, the Singapore pools were built for the first time with the Myrtha R-Evolution membrane, made from 60% recycled materials and fully recyclable at the end of its lifespan. Certified by RecyClass, the membrane represents a further step forward toward increasingly green pool design. Compared to traditional construction methods, the Myrtha pools installed in Singapore reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 45%. Furthermore, during the World Championships, water circulation was ensured by the advanced Strahlenturbulenz system, based on the Venturi effect. This mechanism uses wall nozzles to ensure a uniform, turbulence-free flow, thus contributing to ideal conditions for swimmers.
"We are proud to once again see our Made in Italy pools taking center stage at the World Aquatics Swimming World Championships in Singapore," emphasizes Roberto Colletto, CEO of Myrtha Pools. "This region, and Southeast Asia in particular, represents a strategic market for Myrtha not only for sports facilities, but also for pools for resorts and hotels. Thanks to Myrtha's exclusive technology, we are able to build both pools for the World Championships that can be reinstalled after the competitions and pools for 50th-floor hotels capable of withstanding even extreme weather conditions, such as typhoons, all while maintaining a particular focus on sustainability. In Singapore, we have obtained three important product certifications from the Singapore Green Building Council." Myrtha Pools' presence in Italy, Europe, the USA, and Southeast Asia goes beyond sports facilities. With a growing portfolio in the luxury hotel sector, the company collaborates with architects and hotel chains to create cutting-edge pools and wellness centers.
