Soccer: Olimpia Prato learns from Sarri, Giampaolo, and Semplici

Prato, July 11, 2025 – A lesson from Maurizio Sarri, in the setting of Castiglione della Pescaia. Gabriele and Francesco Pecoraro, coaches of Olimpia Prato, recently attended the training day. The two key figures from the Prato youth soccer club attended the course (which included theoretical lessons and on-field tactical analysis) taught by the Lazio coach himself (Italian champion with Juventus in 2019/20 and Europa League winner with Chelsea). The meeting also allowed participants to hear advice and insights from two other Serie A instructors: Marco Giampaolo, former AC Milan and Sampdoria manager, and Leonardo Semplici, who led SPAL from Serie C to Serie A a few seasons ago, also spoke during the course. "An important training day for our coaches," the club said on its social media channels, "a high-quality full immersion program for the technical enrichment of our staff and the club as a whole."
