The lack of coordination between the State Attorney General's Office and the Jalisco Institute of Forensic Sciences (IJCF) is nothing new, and the case of Nanci Yadit Hernández Carrillo, who spent more than eight months in the Semefo (National Investigation Department) despite her family searching for her and a missing person report, was just another link in the mix.
