Following the announcement of a cold front arriving this Sunday, Monday's low is expected to be around 5°C. There are hopes for a rise in temperature by midweek.

The Meteorological Surveillance Office (OVM) issued its forecast report for the new week. It's worth noting that this Sunday, the closure of the Cristo Redendor Pass to Chile was announced, as were the Pehuenche and Agua Negra complexes due to adverse weather conditions.

In this context, the OVM reported for Monday: "Partly cloudy with little change in temperature and snowfall in the mountains. Precipitation in Malargüe and the foothills." The minimum temperature will be 9°C and the maximum 18°C . In addition, a yellow alert has been issued for snowfall throughout the province's mountain range during the night and early hours of Monday.

Civil defense

For Tuesday , the Climate Contingency Directorate detailed: "Light cloud cover with little change in temperature, moderate northeasterly winds." The low will be around 5°C and the high 18°C .

Snowfall in high mountains

For Wednesday , the extended forecast calls for: "Partly cloudy with rising temperatures. Snow in the mountains." The low will be around 7°C and the high around 21°C .
