Air traffic controller protests continue in Argentina; flights are canceled and delayed.

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina.- This Sunday, the Association of Technicians and Employees of Protection and Safety in Air Navigation (Atepsa) of Argentina held a new day of protest by air traffic controllers , which paralyzed operations at airports throughout the country , causing cancellations and delays in dozens of flights.
The staggered strike scheme over five days and two time slots began last Friday, the day in which some 12,000 people were affected by the cancellation or delay of around 100 flights , according to Aerolíneas Argentinas on its profile on the social network X.

The Atepsa union confirmed that the protest will take place this Sunday in two time slots: from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time (4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. GMT) and from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time (10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. GMT).
During these periods, takeoffs and the reception of flight plans will not be authorized, although landings will continue for safety reasons.
