After his meeting with the Pope, Javier Milei traveled to Madrid to participate in a right-wing economic forum.

After his visit to Rome , where he met with Pope Leo XIV and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni , President Javier Milei headed to Madrid to participate in the Madrid Economic Forum with economists and investors. Upon arriving in Spain , the Argentine president was received by the leader of the far-right Vox party, Santiago Abascal.

Through the official account of the President's Office , Milei shared the photo of the new meeting with the Spanish congressman. According to his official agenda, the Argentine president will not hold meetings with his Spanish counterpart, Pedro Sánchez , with whom he had a heated dispute in 2024, fueled primarily by their ideological differences.

Milei will speak at a private event organized by a company specializing in technology and crypto assets, alongside liberal economists and former officials from the Spanish right. Among the attendees will be Javier Pastor , CEO of Bit2me, the company that will fund the event, who has previously questioned Milei for her involvement in the $LIBRA scandal.

Spain is the Argentine president's second destination on what will be his longest tour. After Madrid, Milei will depart on Monday for Nice, France , to meet with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron and participate in the United Nations Ocean Summit.

After that, he will travel to Israel , where he will have activities until Thursday. Highlights on his agenda include a meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu , a visit to the Western Wall, an address to the Israeli Parliament, and meetings with the families of hostages held by Hamas.

On Friday the 13th, Milei will embark on the final leg of his trip and return to Madrid , this time to receive an award from the School of Salamanca and share a meal with Spanish business leaders. Finally, the Argentine president and his entourage will embark on their return trip to the country on Saturday the 14th.
