Libertad Avanza and the PRO became the first minority in the House of Representatives.

With the results of the elections on Sunday, October 26, La Libertad Avanza and its allies became the largest minority in the Chamber of Deputies , consolidating a bloc with more than 100 representatives. Despite the seats obtained in the Lower House, the ruling party must still negotiate and reach agreements with the dialogue blocs in order to pass laws.
Starting December 10, the ruling party will have 82 deputies of its own, more than double its current number. These will be joined by 22 legislators from the PRO party , its main ally, and six from the Radical Party, bringing the total to 110 legislators aligned with President Javier Milei .
Despite this growth, La Libertad Avanza will have to reach an agreement with the dialogue blocs willing to negotiate with the government to approve or reject bills in the Lower House. Among the spaces open to dialogue are Federal Innovation , which could have 7 or 8 seats; Production and Work, which has 3 seats; and Independence , which will also have 3 seats.
For its part, United Provinces will have 20 representatives in the Chamber of Deputies, despite its governors losing in every province. The gubernatorial bloc had a difficult start in its first national elections, barely obtaining 7.13% of the vote nationwide. The districts represented within this new coalition are Chubut, Córdoba, Jujuy, Santa Cruz, Santa Fe, and Corrientes; provinces that have expressed a willingness to negotiate with President Javier Milei.
On the other hand, Peronism managed to retain 98 legislators. " The government is wrong to celebrate this election result, where six out of ten Argentines told it they don't agree with its model," said Buenos Aires Governor Axel Kicillof at the Fuerza Patria headquarters after the results were announced, with 95% of the polling stations counted.
