English football legend Paul Gascoigne is rushed to hospital after being found unconscious at his home.

English football legend Paul Gascoigne was rushed to intensive care on Friday night after being found semi-conscious by a friend at his home in Poole, England , The Sun reports. The 58-year-old former player, popularly known as Gazza, remains in a nearby hospital where he is recovering. His condition has been described as stable.
The announcement came from his friend and personal assistant, Steve Foster , who found the former player collapsed in his bedroom and immediately drove him to the hospital. "Paul is in the hospital, which is the best possible place for him at the moment," said Foster, who also added that Gascoigne "would like to thank everyone for the support he's received so far from so many old friends who wish him well."
The news has prompted an outpouring of support from figures close to Gazza, including his daughter, reality star Bianca Gascoigne , his sisters and former teammates Peter Beardsley , Chris Waddle , Paul Merson and Vinnie Jones .
Gascoigne, a former player for clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur , Lazio and Rangers , is considered one of the greatest talents in British football. He made 57 appearances for England and scored ten goals between 1988 and 1998. He is best remembered for the tears he shed in the 1990 World Cup semi-final in Italy and for his memorable goal at Euro 96.
This latest health episode coincides with recent complications off the field. In early July, Companies House announced the closure and dissolution of the company linked to Gascoigne for failing to file registrations in a timely manner. Furthermore, his longtime agent, Katie Davies, has distanced himself from his professional environment.
Despite the difficulties, the former footballer's inner circle remains optimistic. He is expected to remain in the hospital for several days while his recovery continues.
