Playing volleyball in the historic heart of Paris

Several people played beach volleyball this Saturday on three sand courts set up in Paris's City Hall Square, as part of the Paris Plages summer activities program.

The initiative, which transforms urban areas into beach spaces, seeks to bring summer recreation to those staying in the city. The courts in front of the Hôtel de Ville will be open to the public throughout the summer.
