Professional League: Rosario Central couldn't beat San Martín and was left wanting in Arroyito.

In a lackluster and uneventful match, Di María's team failed to impose itself on the San Juan team, who took a massive point. El Canalla remains undefeated, but missed the chance to consolidate their position at the top.
Central and San Martín failed to take advantage in Arroyito : in a dull match with few scoring chances, Rosario Central had to settle for a goalless draw against San Martín de San Juan . The team, led by Ángel Di María, failed to impose its style of play and left with a bitter taste in their mouths. This was one of the matches corresponding to the third round of the Professional League 's Apertura tournament.
During the first half, it was the visitors who surprised everyone by taking control from the start. High up the field and dominating the ball, San Martín created the clearest chances: a backheel from T omás Fernández that required a great response from Jorge Broun, and a shot from Horacio Tijanovic that went wide after a short rebound from the goalkeeper. Central, meanwhile, found no way to cause any damage. They barely gave any indication of opportunities with a combination between Malcorra, Veliz, and Cantizano, which was well finished by goalkeeper Matías Borgogno.

Ángel Di María, always closely watched, caused several fouls but was unable to break the deadlock. Leandro Romagnoli's team's strategy was effective : they closed down his spaces and forced him to play uncomfortably. El Canalla was irritating with the repeated fouls and, near the end of the first half, came close to receiving a red card after a harsh challenge for lack of composure.
In the second half, Ariel Holan's team grew in their play and made greater strides toward the opposition's penalty area. Enzo Copetti, who came off the bench, had the clearest chances, but ran into a confident Borgogno .
San Martín , on the other hand, retreated and practically gave up attacking. Only Ayrton Portillo , with a personal effort, managed to cause any problems.

Campaz and Malcorra were not sharp , and that was reflected in the lack of clear play for Alejo Veliz, who struggled more than he played.
Thus , the leader of the 2025 Annual Table (with 40 points) could not beat the team that has collected the fewest points so far (13), although both maintain current objectives: Central remains undefeated in Zone B and San Martín, despite being in the relegation zone, remains among the eight classified for the round of 16 of the Clausura.
