According to the Mar del Plata newspaper La Capital , the incident occurred between the 20th and 25th minutes of the first half. The fight broke out in the corner that connects the popular section with the open-air seating, and was believed to be an internal brawl among the "Tiburón" hooligans.
During the confrontation, there were moments of tension in several sections of the stadium. Many spectators were forced to change seats for safety, while chants of protest such as "everyone leave" could be heard from the stands, directed at the rioters.

After the fight ended, the injured were treated by medical personnel in an ambulance located inside the stadium. Police gathered information to initiate appropriate action, although the victims refused to cooperate.
Following this refusal, prosecutor María Constanza Mandagarán intervened, referring the case to the Early Conflict Resolution Office , headed by Graciela Trill. The case was initiated ex officio and classified as "aggravated minor injuries," given that the events occurred during a sporting event, which constitutes a legal aggravating factor.
The head of security at Aldosivi attempted to intervene to calm the situation, but the hostile atmosphere persisted, and tension remained high for much of the encounter. Police response was activated after the fight, with officers approaching to gather information and begin the investigation.
