Pension tension nears boiling point in The Hague

The Party for the Animals will vote in favour of the NSC pension plan. The faction decided this on Monday afternoon, one day before the vote on the much-discussed amendment. This means that a majority is within reach, although the proposal has been strongly advised against by NSC minister Eddy van Hijum of Social Affairs and Employment. One more vote is now needed. Political reporter Martine Wolzak explains how that would complete the chaos in The Hague.
