In The Hague, there was much talk about the red line – or lack thereof – in the war in Gaza. But last Tuesday, something remarkable happened: Minister Caspar Veldkamp of Foreign Affairs sent a letter to the European Commission, in which he called for measures against Israel. What does Veldkamp's letter say, and what are the consequences of the cabinet's turn?
