FC Utrecht brings midfielder De Wit back to Eredivisie

Dani de Wit returns to the Eredivisie. The 27-year-old attacking midfielder signs a three-season contract with FC Utrecht, who take him over from VfL Bochum, who were relegated from the Bundesliga. De Wit previously played football in the Netherlands at Ajax and AZ.
"I think the club has really shown ambition, especially in recent years, by structurally reaching the top seven. They always want to go the extra mile, and they have shown that this year in terms of sport. I hope to contribute to that as well so that we can maintain that," De Wit responded to his transfer on the FC Utrecht website.
FC Utrecht finished fourth in the Eredivisie this season and thus qualified for the preliminary round of the Europa League.
