Civic mobilization. For the highest possible turnout: governors, tourist attractions and paprykarz

This - at least in the history of presidential elections - has never happened before! The Mayor of Szczecin guarantees a gift of Szczecin paprykarz for the commune with the highest voter turnout. Meanwhile, voivodes all over the country are pairing up regions: so there will be a friendly rivalry between Western Pomerania and Lesser Poland in Sunday's elections.
Piotr Krzystek, the mayor of Szczecin, joined the #votes100percent campaign and announced: "Szczecin Floating Garden takes up the election gauntlet. We don't have Wrocław dwarves or Wawel dragons... But we have something tastier and we won't hesitate to use it. The one with the highest turnout will go straight from Szczecin to the commune... Paprykarz Szczeciński. But watch out - it's measured in kilograms! The paprykarz is equal to the percentage of turnout!"
Voivodes from all over Poland are also joining the friendly competition for the highest voter turnout.
- All the governors want as many Poles as possible to vote in the upcoming presidential elections on Sunday - says Adam Rudawski, governor of West Pomerania. - We decided to jointly encourage residents to do so, adding to this a touch of friendly rivalry between individual regions.
This is how our Western Pomerania will compete with Lesser Poland.
- The rules are simple: the province with the highest turnout wins - explains Adam Rudawski. - The losing governor comes to the partner region and promotes its tourist attractions. Małopolska is beautiful, and in the first round it had a higher turnout than Zachodniopomorskie. But I believe in our residents. I encourage everyone to vote! Let's show what a wise, responsible and committed society we are, and at the same time let's promote our beautiful Zachodniopomorskie.
The second round of the presidential elections will be held on Sunday, June 1. Polling stations will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. When you go to vote, you must take a document confirming your identity. ©℗
