Visiting Wiejska Street

They visited the Sejm building, participated in Sejm sessions and gained new, valuable experience. Students of the General Józef Kustroń School Complex in Lubaczów received a valuable lesson in democracy in the capital.
The trip was a reward for participating in the January competition on knowledge about the Sejm. At the time, employees of the Sejm Chancellery came to the Lubaczów facility - at the invitation of MP Teresa Pamuła - to familiarize the students with the history of Polish parliamentarism and the architecture of the Sejm and its current functioning. Later, students from primary and secondary schools from all over the Lubaczów district faced a series of questions prepared by the Sejm University. The effort paid off. Quite recently, the youth from the Lubaczów Secondary School Complex, together with representatives of other schools from the Lubaczów district, were able to supplement theory with practice by personally visiting the building on Wiejska Street and participating in the Sejm session. At the beginning of the session, the youth were also welcomed from the Sejm rostrum by Marshal Włodzimierz Czarzasty, who addressed a few warm words to the delegation. The visit to the capital was complemented by an additional attraction in the form of a visit to the Museum of John Paul II and Primate Wyszyński at the Temple of Divine Providence in Warsaw's Wilanów district.
The students returned to the school reality a little tired, but richer in valuable experiences.
