Although the Days of Oborniki Śląskie began yesterday, the official opening took place today at 3 p.m. Earlier, at 1 p.m., a plaque commemorating Piotr Mozalewski was unveiled, after whom the square located between Wyszyńskiego, Mickiewicza and Orkana streets is now named. A moment later, a boulder was unveiled by the fountain, between the cinema and the parking lot, near the Dino store. It commemorates the 80th anniversary of granting city rights to Oborniki Śląskie. Shortly afterwards, a parade set off from the City Office and reached the market area. The city celebration is still ongoing. The concert of the Myslovitz band has just begun. The fun is scheduled to begin at 10:30 p.m., with music provided by DJ WIKAR. Tomorrow at 2 p.m., the naturally-locally fair will begin, and at 4 p.m., the “Tarabumba Circus” performance by Teatr Klinika Lalek will begin. More about the Days of Oborniki Śląskie we will write in the next issue of Nowa Gazeta Trzebnicka.
