Shocking accident: Father and his 13-year-old son resuscitated

The incident was first reported on Thursday by Miejski Reporter. On July 10, shortly after 11 p.m., on Wisłostrada (between Wenedów and Krasińskiego streets – near the Żoliborz Citadel), a passenger car collided head-on with a motor ambulance and a motorcycle (carrying two people, one of them a minor). The driver, traveling against traffic, ended up crashing into the car.

The Ministry of Regional Affairs published a shocking account. Witnesses to the horrific accident immediately rushed to the injured to provide aid. The force of the collision with the motorcycle was so intense that, as can be seen in the photos, items of clothing (including shoes) were literally thrown several dozen, if not several hundred meters.

The Ministry of Regional Development determined that all emergency services were called and quickly arrived at the scene, including six fire brigades. The city and Masovian Voivodeship operations officer was also present. Approximately 20 minutes after the accident, a medical rescue team, arriving by air ambulance helicopter, landed on the route. Some of the occupants were taken on board.

The City Reporter website informs that two people who were in the wrong-way vehicle allegedly fled. They are likely currently being sought by law enforcement.

Just before midnight, resuscitation (CPR) was still being performed on two people traveling on the motorcycle. The younger of the two, a 13-year-old, was urgently taken by helicopter to a hospital in Ochota, the University Clinical Center of the Medical University of Warsaw. The boy's father was treated on site.

"Multiple organ injuries"

The Provincial Emergency Medical Service and Sanitary Transport Station "Meditrans" SPZOZ in Warsaw also wrote about the accident.

"After 11:00 p.m., a car and motorcycle accident occurred on the Gdynia Coast, near Cytadela Island. Witnesses to the incident provided aid to the injured: a 45-year-old father and his 13-year-old son, until two ambulances and an LPR helicopter arrived," reports the independent public healthcare facility.

What condition are the injured people in? They have "multiple injuries."
