Tech-Project Futsal Team Jarosław is the vice-champion of Podkarpacie [PHOTOS]

The Podkarpacie Sand Championships were held for the ninth time. This time, five teams participated, including two from our region: Tech-Project Futsal Team Jarosław and Czarni Oleszyce. Others competing for the title were Heiro Rzeszów, Zalasowa Team, and Futsal Club Sport Południe Łańcut.

The representatives of Tech-Project from Jarosław performed very solidly and successfully. With a little more concentration, they could have taken home the championship title. They ended up with second place and the title of runner-up of the Podkarpacie region.

The Jarosław team defeated Heiro Rzeszów in a penalty shootout (2-1) (the game was tied 3-3 in regular time), Futsal Club Sport Południe Łańcut 2-1, and Czarni Oleszyce 5-1. They only lost to Zalasowa Team 2-3. The latter team secured all three victories in the tournament, scored the most goals in the entire tournament, and deservedly won the Podkarpacie championship title. They earned a total of 9 points. Tech-Project Futsal Team Jarosław secured 8 points, Futsal Club Sport Południe Łańcut finished third with 6 points, Heiro Rzeszów finished fourth with 4 points, and Czarni Oleszyce finished fifth with 3 points.

The Tech-Project Futsal Team Jarosław featured Czemerda (goalkeeper), Bogacz, Walczak, Halwa, Kudera, Broda, Ruselik, Wojciechowski, Zarębiński, and Krajowski. Awards and trophies were presented by Sławomir Ferenc and Krzysztof Młodowiec, members of the Podkarpackie Futsal Department of the Polish Football Association.
