The murderer of a bread delivery man will spend the rest of his life in prison.

It was October 19, 2020, around 3 a.m. A 60-year-old bakery delivery driver, Wojciech G., drove up to a store in Jawornik Polski in a delivery van, delivering goods. According to investigators, Adam Sz. attacked him from behind, striking him forcefully in the back of the head with a baseball bat. After the man fell, the perpetrator repeatedly struck him with the bat all over his body and head. He struck him a total of more than a dozen blows to the head, face, and torso. According to the Przeworsk prosecutor's office, Adam Sz. searched the victim's pockets, then got into the delivery driver's car and drove off with the goods in an unknown direction. As a result of this brutal attack, the prosecutor's office reported, Wojciech G. suffered numerous injuries, including a broken nose, a broken skull, and brain bleeding. He was taken to hospital, where he died of respiratory failure in early December 2020.
