The season starts on Arkonka

Lifeguards on full alert. Pools cleaned, slides renovated, equipment checked and ready for use, and water tested. Everything - including catering points, "inflatables" and trampolines - is waiting for those eager for outdoor recreation: sunbathing and swimming. It is for them that tomorrow - on Children's Day - the "Szczecin Majorca" will open its gates.
Traditionally, Arkonka - on June 1 - starts the beach season in Szczecin. A reduced-price ticket will cost PLN 13, and a regular ticket - PLN 26. The youngest guests, i.e. children up to 6 years old, as well as disabled people with a guardian, will be able to use the attractions of the "Szczecin Majorca" free of charge.
- All swimming pools will be available to visitors - sports, teardrop, sea, wild river - and slides. Lifeguards will be watching over safety. In addition to the swimming pools, as always, you can expect many other attractions. Visitors will find deckchairs, hammocks, a playground, an outdoor gym, barbecue areas, a beach, beach volleyball courts and a skate park. Tennis courts will be available for a fee, as well as "inflatables" and trampolines. However, badminton courts will be free of charge - from this season. Four catering points will also be open in Arkonka - says Paulina Łątka from the City Information Center.
The bathing season at Arkonka will last until September 7. The swimming pool and recreation complex will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays (Monday - Thursday), and until 8 p.m. on weekends (one hour shorter in August).
- We will enter the facility through the main gate with ticket offices and additionally - first on weekends, and from the beginning of the summer holidays every day - through the gate from the parking lot side. Tickets for Arkonka can be purchased on site, but to avoid queues, it is better to do it via the application: Mobile City Card Szczecin. Tickets in the application can be purchased for any date throughout the season - informs Paulina Łątka from CIM. - Electronic passes are also available. For 10 entries, a reduced one - PLN 117, and a so-called normal one - PLN 234. Discounts also apply as part of the Szczecin Family Card and Senior Card.
For those arriving by car, there are two parking lots near Arkonka: a paid one (PLN 2 for 1 hour of parking) and a free one. There are 100 secure bike racks. Access by public transport - no seasonal changes yet. ©℗
