What a performance by Pogoń-Sokół Lubaczów! Wisła fans are on their knees!

It's been a while since Pogoń-Sokół Lubaczów players have performed so brilliantly in the third league, not just in recent weeks, but even in recent months. This afternoon, Andrzej Paszkiewicz's team crushed Wiślan Skawina on the pitch at the Wyszyńskiego Street stadium.
If this result had been achieved last season, it wouldn't have been such a surprise. However, during the summer break, Wisła Kraków – mindful of the fact that they struggled to maintain this level of play in the 2024-2025 campaign – strengthened their squad significantly. This has had a significant impact on the recently started season, as the Skawina team is performing exceptionally well, even briefly topping the table.
But in Lubaczów, they were routed by the superbly equipped hosts. In this match, everything seemed to be going right for Pogoń[-Sokołow. After the match, the fans were left in amazement, praising their favorites left and right—and rightly so. One of the many comments: "It's not about the result anymore, but about your attitude in today's match. It was truly a pleasure to watch this match. Respect and congratulations."
Yes, it's true. The Lubaczów team simply wanted it badly. And when desire and enthusiasm are combined with determination, fighting for every inch of the pitch, and backed by efficiency, the results are immediately visible.
It's difficult to single out any individual player for particular distinction. Pogoń-Sokół operated like a well-oiled machine that obliterated the opposition. But it's impossible not to mention the exceptional work of Adam Imiela in the second row, who finally looked like the "general" from his days at ŁKS Łagów, where he divided and conquered, adding to his devastating efficiency. And it's also impossible not to mention Oskar Majda, who toiled away at the plate and showed off his two-pack. He's already scored four goals in five matches.
The praise is deserved, but that doesn't mean Pogoń-Sokół still has a lot of work to do. But when they consistently combine their desire and enthusiasm with determination, fighting for every inch of the pitch, and backing it up with efficiency, there will truly be something to celebrate.
Pogoń-Sokół Lubaczów – Wiślanie Skawina 5:1 (2:0)- Goals: Imiela 2, Majda 2, Rusjan.
