The government has adopted the first package of deregulation laws that will make life easier for citizens and entrepreneurs - the Chancellery of the Prime Minister announced. - Our term of office will be marked by simplifying life and a great deregulation revolution - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk. The changes include, among others, lowering court fees and extending the time to change a surname after a divorce.

- Today I can say with full conviction that our term of office will be marked by simplifying life , making life easier and a great deregulation revolution - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk before the meeting of the Council of Ministers, at which a package of nine deregulation laws was adopted .

Deregulation laws. What changes await us?

The changes concern simplifications, among others, by extending the functionality of the mObywatel application or extending the time for changing the surname after divorce - as announced in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.

The bills also include the introduction of a mandatory 6-month vacatio legis for changes in tax regulations that have a negative effect on the taxpayer. The bills also assume lowering the upper limit of the court fee to PLN 100,000. Previously, it was PLN 200,000.

Deregulation laws. Tusk proposed to the head of InPost to develop changes

On February 10, Prime Minister Donald Tusk proposed to the CEO of InPost to lead a team that would prepare deregulation proposals, and Brzoska accepted the proposal .

A week later, the team published the first postulates concerning, among others, nine changes to regulations and 14 changes to the law. Brzoska soon created the "SprawdzaMY" initiative .

Since the beginning of the "SprawdzaMY" initiative, citizens and entrepreneurs have submitted over 14,000 proposals for changes to the law, 70% of which come from citizens .

From the hundreds of identified barriers, seven priority areas were selected, the so-called Big Seven of deregulation, including: taxes, digitalisation of services, justice, energy, EU law, health and improving administration and security. The first improvement packages were developed in these thematic silos.
