Industry in Europe and Poland has found itself at a historically important moment. The fate of modern, competitive production and, more broadly, the future of many industrial sectors on the Old Continent is at stake.

Europe has made a determined effort to not only retain industry under pressure from regulation and high energy prices in Europe , but also to raise strategically important, promising sectors to a higher level of international competitiveness.

An element of the new industrial policy in Europe is to loosen the regulatory straitjacket that reduces production efficiency , discourages investment in technologies and means of production, and ensures access to stable, clean energy at prices that will enable competition with producers from Asia or America.

Own industrial production in an unstable environment, in a world of conflicts and growing rivalry, has become a key factor in the sovereignty and resilience of the economy. This is especially important in relation to sectors that translate into defense potential or multi-aspect security.

Competitiveness and productivity, independence and security are categories that are gaining importance also in the area of the ongoing digital transformation and the technological race of the most developed economies. Knowledge and engineering competences, innovations and their commercialization, the use of breakthrough technologies in production - these are the factors that decide today about tomorrow's opportunities for economic development and quality of life.
