Russia is attacking. The main blow will fall on Poland

- Russia is intensifying sabotage operations against Poland, seeking to weaken the sense of security and trust in state institutions.
- Moscow's main intention is to create the impression that Poland is unable to cope with the growing threats.
- According to the former intelligence officer, the situation is serious and the authorities' responses seem insufficient.
The National Prosecutor's Office has no doubt that the fire in the hall at Marywilska Street 44 in Warsaw was inspired by Russia. - It was arson. We have a certain finding that members of an organized criminal group of an international nature were behind this arson. Thirdly, this group acted on behalf of the intelligence of the Russian Federation - said in May the spokesman for the National Prosecutor's Office, Przemysław Nowak.
The evidence has allowed charges to be brought against two people. One of them is currently under arrest in Lithuania. The other has not yet been charged because he is in Russia.
In response to a parliamentary question, Deputy Minister of National Defence Paweł Bejda said that Poland remains one of the priority areas of interest and sabotage activity of the Russian special services.
In the foreseeable future, the security situation in the area of sabotage activities will probably remain at a high level of threat with an upward trend, we read.
According to Major Robert Cheda, a former officer of the Intelligence Agency, Poland will continue to be the main target of Russian sabotage actions.
- The main Russian attack will be on Poland , not Lithuania or Moldova, because without Poland there is no eastern flank of NATO, nor is there any mobilization of Europe. And if there is no such thing, the Russians have an open path to concluding bilateral agreements, tearing away European countries, such as Hungary and Slovakia. And that is why the more chaos and divisions they incite in our country, the better for them. They incite hatred of people towards people, in which they are bravely helped by our political class - said Robert Cheda in an interview with "Dziennik Gazeta Prawna".
The expert adds that physical sabotage will continue to be used as a tool to undermine citizens' trust in their own state.
- Their main goal is to create the impression that the state has no control over the situation and is unable to effectively counteract threats.
- In his opinion, it is possible that in the near future a political force will emerge that will appeal to "common sense" with the intention of removing the compromised elites from power.
- Traces of Russian influence could be seen in the activities of such a group.
- Such a force will grow. We are in a very bad situation, and I have the impression that no one has control over it. Chaos is a perfect environment for operational activities - the expert summed up in an interview with "DGP".
