Lublin is preparing a unique event for watch fans. Antoni Patek is the main character.

All fans of watches and the legacy of Antoni Patek should visit the Lublin Conference Centre on 13-14 June. This is where the Passion For Watches – Antoni N. Patek festival will take place, with a big surprise in the programme.

Not everyone knows, but the famous pioneer of world watchmaking, Antoni Patek, comes from... the Lublin region . Antoni Patek was born in 1812 into a noble family, in Lublin's Piaski Szlacheckie .

It is definitely worth bragging about the history of our compatriot, who is considered a pioneer of industrial watch production and the founder of Patek Philippe & Co. , whose timepieces were worn by, among others, the British Queen Victoria of Hanover , Queen Louise of Denmark, King Victor Emmanuel III and Tsar Nicholas II .

It is therefore not surprising that the Passion For Watches – Antoni N. Patek festival was created, a unique event dedicated to the art of watchmaking , the history of precise time measurement and, of course, the legacy of Antoni Norbert Patek .

The festival combines educational , exhibition, workshop and commercial parts. The organizers would like to create a space for exchanging knowledge, experiences and inspirations.

All festival guests can count on interesting lectures and panel discussions , as well as practical workshops . Watch enthusiasts will be able to take part in clock renovation shows , exhibitions of historical and contemporary watches , as well as discuss with other collectors and watchmakers during networking meetings . Cultural events are also planned, including a real bombshell, the premiere of the documentary film "Antoni Patek Patriot and Watchmaker" .

This year's edition of the festival will take place on June 13 and 14, 2025 at the Lublin Conference Center .
