Minimum wage: Finance Ministry indicates how much it could increase

Work is underway on the idea of ​​increasing the minimum wage for 2026. At the end of May, the Ministry of Family presented its proposal to increase the minimum wage. It would amount to PLN 5,020 gross (currently PLN 4,666). This is more than the unions proposed within the Social Dialogue Council, which postulated PLN 5,015. Then the media reported that the Ministry of Finance did not agree with the MRPiPS proposal. It was supposed to indicate that an increase only up to PLN 4,806 was possible.
