Linda Noskova lost her mother last year. Ivana Noskova lost her battle with cancer. The tennis player had a great relationship with her mother, who had a big influence on the development of her sports career. She often traveled with her to tournaments and was an invaluable support for her. "I am sick, the long journey itself would be exhausting. We watch everything at home, keep our fingers crossed and stay in touch. We have traveled a lot together over the years," Ivana Noskova said in January 2024 in an interview for "Denik". Today, the tennis player has to cope without the help of her mother.
On Sunday, May 11, many countries celebrated Mother's Day, which in Poland is celebrated on May 26. Linda Noskova received many unpleasant messages after her defeat by Mirra Andreyeva, which also attacked her mother, who died less than a year ago after a long and exhausting battle with illness. It is no wonder that the tennis player could not stand it.
"To all those who remembered my late mother after my failure, especially on today's Brand Day. I sincerely hope that one day you will find compassion in your heart," Linda Noskova wrote online.
