Ireneusz Pietrzykowski has ceased to be the head coach of the 1st league team Stal Stalowa Wola. His place has been taken by the current second coach Maciej Jarosz.
Pietrzykowski took over as Stal's coach on March 21, 2023. Under his leadership, the team advanced to the second league year after year, and then to the first. The decision to change the coach was dictated by the team's poor results, which ranks 17th in the Ekstraklasa, five points behind the zone that guarantees survival.

The new coach of the team from Stalowa Wola, 31-year-old Jarosz, was Pietrzykowski's assistant since the moment he arrived at Stal. Before that, he worked at Resovia Rzeszów, coaching the under-19 team.
