They have completed the formalities! Bogdanka LUK Lublin volleyball players in the Challenge Cup final

Bogdanka LUK Lublin won the first two sets against Sporting Lisbon in the return match of the Challenge Cup semi-final. In the first match, the Lublin team defeated their rivals 3:0, so they advanced to the final, where they will face Cucine Lube Civitanova.

In the initial parts of the premiere set, the guests kept pace with the Lublin team. In the middle part of the set, the Bogdanka players built a solid lead (15:10) and calmly maintained the point gap until the end of the set. The Sporting players made it easier for the hosts, making as many as ten of their own mistakes in this set. Bogdanka's victory was sealed with a block-out attack by Mateusz Malinowski (25:20).

The second set started better for the guests (2:5, 6:10). The Lublin volleyball players responded with a series of points from 9:13 to 15:13, with Mikołaj Sawicki serving. The fate of the set was decided in the end. Malinowski finished two actions, a point block was made and the hosts had a set point (24:21). Malinowski added the missing point with an effective attack (25:22). The Bogdanka LUK Lublin volleyball players sealed their advancement to the final by winning the second set.

In the second semi-final, the Italian Cucine Lube Civitanova volleyball players won twice against the Turkish Spor Toto SK Ankara (3:0, 3:0) . The final of the 2025 Men's Challenge Cup will therefore feature a clash between Bogdanka LUK Lublin and Cucine Lube Civitanova.
