There is still no shortage of tourists who do not know mountain etiquette. Unfortunately, some of the behavior of climbers in the Tatras poses a serious threat to the health and life of other people. In one of the films recently posted on Facebook, the conqueror of Mięguszowiecki Peak and his friend throw rocks into the abyss. Internet users are demanding a lifetime ban on them from entering the Tatra National Park.

"Extreme idiocy" in the Tatra Mountains

Yesterday, a film appeared on the Tatromaniak profile, which could previously only be seen on Facebook groups devoted to mountain climbing. The shared video material aroused great interest among Internet users, who called on the TPN authorities to take action to locate the perpetrator.

In a short film recorded on the trail from Mięguszowiecki Szczyt Pośredni to Mięguszowiecka Przełęcz Wyżnia, two men can be heard. While one of them pushes a large rock into the abyss with his foot, the other, standing behind the camera, does not mince his vulgar words, does not hide his disappointment with the too small effect, suggesting that the rock should be bigger. Everything happens at the most popular lake in the Tatras, a place visited by millions of tourists - Morskie Oko.

Internet users demand justice

The film, which can still be found on the Tatromaniak profile, is swarming with comments from furious Internet users. They cannot imagine sharing the trail with such a reckless tourist in the future. Some are demanding a lifetime ban on entering the Tatra National Park, while others are going a step further. "This is deliberately causing a threat to the lives of others. It is possible to determine who the author is and an appropriate section should be applied," writes one of the outraged. "A lawsuit for attempted murder should be filed. This moron is still proud of his achievement in the comments," writes another person. Some users who are particularly active on climbing forums have discovered who the author of the film may be and suggest that he has engaged in many other dangerous behaviors in the past.
