Poles rushed to buy tickets to Croatia. Such prices do not scare them away

Ticket sales for the train from Warsaw to Rijeka began on June 6. Although passengers were still complaining about the lack of an official position on the matter yesterday , the carrier's website finally gave them a payment option. The price of a second-class ticket for the June 27 journey is exactly PLN 193.52. However, there is no option to buy a couchette - the couchette seats sold out very quickly.
You can now buy a ticket to RijekaYesterday, the PKP website still had a message about the impossibility of buying tickets from Warsaw to Rijeka. "Ticket sales for train no. 1277 will be launched in the near future. Please be patient and follow the updates on our website," wrote the guide. Today, passengers can finally buy tickets for the inaugural journey, which will take place in exactly three weeks. We took a look at the entire process of making a reservation.
Currently, first-class tickets are unavailable in the carrier's online system. In second class, the price in the non-refundable offer is as the carrier announced - PLN 193. Passengers who prefer to be more flexible and have the option of returning the ticket (after paying the transfer fee) will spend as much as PLN 478 (the equivalent of EUR 111) on the twenty-hour journey.
There are no more couchesThe cost of a ticket with a couchette is PLN 387.47, which is the equivalent of EUR 89.90 or PLN 586.16 in the flexible offer. Despite the high price, Poles quickly bought all available tickets for couchette seats on June 27. However, free seats are available for subsequent journeys - including on Sunday, June 29. There are four couchettes in each compartment - passengers can already choose on the carrier's website whether they want to be placed on the upper or lower bed on the train.
