Up to 1,000 euros to be won. Wizz Air gives money back for tickets

Such an opportunity certainly does not come along every day and who knows, maybe the next one will be next year. On Wednesday, May 21, Wizz Air launched a new campaign, in which it allows its customers to get the value of the purchased ticket back. How is it possible? All you have to do is follow a simple rule.

Thanks to this, the ticket will be free

Refunding the ticket will make it essentially free for us, and what's more, the funds spent on it can be used for another trip with Wizz Air. To take part in the campaign and have a chance to get the ticket value back, you must:

Book a flight between May 21 and May 25,
Submit your WIZZ booking confirmation code,
Wait for a refund of winnings.

The travel booked for the dates mentioned must take place in May or June. The value of the ticket can be redeemed in WIZZ credits worth up to €1,000. Only those drawn will be winners, and the results will be announced on 9 June.

The regulations state that, on the occasion of the carrier's 21st birthday, up to 21 customers can win. The money we receive can cover the cost of a new ticket, but also other services that can be purchased with flights, such as priority boarding or baggage fees. The voucher can be used within a year for one or more trips.

You can buy tickets for pennies

Do you think that participating in the campaign is not worth it, because you have to spend money first? It is worth noting that in many cases we do not have to pay much. On the occasion of the birthday, Wizz Air has reduced the prices of flights to many destinations, from almost every airport where it is stationed. We will pay especially little if we plan a trip for January 2026. In this case, however, we need to meet the competition requirements and find something for ourselves in May or June.

At this time, there are also some gems. For example, you can fly from Warsaw to Milan for PLN 129, and to Venice for PLN 139. Some of the cheaper choices when it comes to flying out of the capital are also Stockholm, Budapest, Bucharest or Copenhagen. On the other hand, the more you spend, the bigger the return you have a chance to get back.
