Fundão Agricultural Innovation Fair

The fourth edition of the Fundão Agricultural Innovation Fair will take place between the 3rd and 6th of July 2025, at Praça Amália Rodrigues, next to the Fundão Business and Services Centre, but also at the Experimental Farms of the Municipality of Fundão.
The Fair, which has as its theme “The Role of Robotics, AI and Big Data in Agriculture”, will feature exhibitors with the most modern mechanization and robotics solutions, animal competitions, exhibitions, lectures, technical presentations, field demonstrations, networking space, and moments of tasting endogenous products from the region .
Innovation, knowledge, technology, interactivity and real-world demonstrations of the most advanced technology at the service of the agricultural sector will once again be the ingredients for discovering the most modern practices in agriculture in Portugal.
The role of Agriculture in the Portuguese economy will also be debated throughout the fair, in a series of conferences, lectures, round tables and debate panels, in an event that is the ideal place to address the main agricultural issues and to increase contacts and business.
The organizing committee includes the Fundão Agrotech Center, ACL – Portuguese Association of Limousine Cattle Breeders, COTNH – National Horticultural Operational and Technological Center, INOVTECHAGRO – National Competence Center for Technological Innovation in the Agroforestry Sector, OVIBEIRA – Association of Agricultural Producers, GOFAR – Global Organization For Agricultural Robotics, European Foundation for Innovation and Application of Technology.
From this edition onwards, the Fundão Agricultural Innovation Fair will be part of the “World Fira” events, a world leader in agricultural automation and robotics.
In terms of culture, the Fundão Agricultural Innovation Fair will coincide with part of the Amália Rodrigues Festival programme, and there will be concerts at Praça Amália Rodrigues, by Marco Rodrigues (3 July, at 10.30 pm), Sara Correia (4 July, at 10.30 pm), Matilde Cid (5 July, 10 pm) and Tânia Oleiro (5 July, 11 pm).
