Longchamp sales up 20% in 2024

Longchamp sales set a new record in 2024, increasing 20% compared to the previous year.
All regions and all distribution networks contributed to this growth, with significant increases in Europe (+33%), the United States (+27%) and South Korea (+93%), as well as in the Middle East, where the Maison opened four new boutiques.
The Maison is a company run by the Cassegrain family for four generations. Its products are sold through a worldwide chain of more than 400 Longchamp boutiques.
In 2024, Longchamp generated 19% of its sales in France, 35% in the rest of Europe and the Middle East, 13% in the Americas and 34% in Asia-Pacific. This growth has created 800 new jobs in two years, half of them in France.
The Group directly manages 354 points of sale through 25 distribution subsidiaries in 24 countries (France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Finland, Portugal, Italy, United States, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia).
According to the company, approximately 300 of these points of sale were renewed between 2022 and 2024.
Longchamp employs 4,245 people worldwide, including 1,682 in France, at its Paris headquarters, its boutiques and its French offices, 77% of whom are women and 80% have permanent contracts. The Group’s Executive Committee is made up of 40% women, while 67% of the directors of its subsidiaries worldwide are women, the group explains.
“These renovations, inspired by the eclectic spirit of a Parisian apartment, allow the Maison to enrich and showcase its collection of contemporary art and furniture. Over the past three years, Longchamp has acquired nearly 200 new works by some 60 different artists, with a particular focus on young and emerging female talents,” said the French company.
This “integral” network is complemented by around 60 franchised boutiques and a thousand multi-brand stores around the world, enabling Longchamp to be represented in 80 countries.
Longchamp is run by the third generation of the Cassegrain family. The founder’s grandson, Jean Cassegrain, is the Maison’s CEO, while his granddaughter Sophie Delafontaine is the general manager and creative director. His brother, Olivier Cassegrain, lives in New York and manages Longchamp’s boutiques in the United States.
In 2020, Jean Cassegrain's sons, Adrien and Hector Cassegrain, joined the House and are now, respectively, Director of Innovation and CSR and General Director (France).
In early 2024, Juliette Poupard, daughter of Sophie Delafontaine, was appointed Group Events Director, becoming the latest representative of the fourth generation to become personally involved in the family business.
