Young man arrested for child sexual abuse and child pornography

The case was being investigated by the Vila Real Criminal Investigation Department since the beginning of April, and “following a report made by a child protection and care institution”, where the victim was being held.

In a statement, the PJ explains that the aggressor and victim “met” on a social network and, later, the suspect enticed the girl “to produce and send sexual videos”.

The detainee will be brought before the competent judicial authorities for judicial questioning and application of coercive measures, deemed appropriate.
