Bruce Springsteen and Trump exchange sour words

The world of arts is turning its attention to Donald Trump. First, it was actor Robert De Niro who accused the President of being “uneducated” in Cannes. Also in Europe, at a concert in Manchester, musician Bruce Springsteen went even further, stating that the United States of America is currently governed by “traitors” .
Before singing 'Land of Hope and Dreams', Springsteen – also known as 'The Boss' – said into the microphone: «My home, the America that I love, the America that I have written about, that has been a beacon of hope and freedom for 250 years, is now in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent and treasonous administration» . He continued: «Raise your voice against authoritarianism and let freedom be heard».
Later, he railed against Trump's America, where, he said, "the richest men enjoy abandoning the world's poorest children to sickness and death. That's happening now."
The US President was quick to respond, calling the singer “just an aggressive and obnoxious IDIOT.” Through his social network, Truth Social, Trump also wrote, with his usual level: “Sleepy Joe [Joe Biden] had no idea what he was doing, but Springsteen is ‘dumb as a rock’ and couldn’t see what was going on, or could he (which is even worse!)? This old as a prune rocker (his skin is all atrophied!) should KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT until he gets back to the country, this is ‘normal’. Then we’ll see what happens.”
The next day, the President threatened the singer with a "major investigation." He also asked in capital letters: "HOW MUCH DID KAMALA HARRIS PAY BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN FOR HIS POOR PERFORMANCE DURING HER CAMPAIGN FOR PRESIDENT?" Trump suggests that 'The Boss' received a large sum not for performing for the Republicans but for supporting Kamala Harris.
