Deadline for monthly DAS-MEI payment ends tomorrow (20)
Attention to the deadline! Friday (20) is the last day to pay the Simple National Collection Document (DAS) for Individual Microentrepreneurs (MEI), the DAS-MEI. Sebrae advises not to leave payment until the last minute and offers a free tool to issue the payment slip on the institution's website or via app.
Payment of DAS-MEI is the category's only obligation and is due on the 20th of each month. The value varies from R$75.90 to R$81.90, depending on the activity performed. . For MEI Truck Drivers, the guide is between R$182.16 and R$188.16, depending on the type of product transported and the place where it is destined.
The DAS-MEI group together the collection of taxes (INSS, ICMS and ISS) in a single form and stipulates a fixed monthly amount of 5% of the minimum wage, plus increases according to the activity performed, even if the individual microentrepreneur is not working. MEIs in the commerce and industry sectors add R$1; while service providers add another R$5. Entrepreneurs who perform both types of activities must pay both taxes, that is, an additional R$6.
Benefits
Paying the contribution every month guarantees the MEI the right to several social security benefits, such as disability retirement, sickness benefit, maternity pay, survivor's pension, old age retirement and imprisonment benefit for their family members . The calculation of benefits is carried out based on the contributions made by the insured, complying with the minimum qualifying period for each social security benefit.

Then, access the personalized “My Wall” environment, where you can issue the payment slip or code for online payment, as well as check your contribution payment history.
