PSI remains high in mixed Europe on holiday celebrating Portugal

The PSI rises at the opening of Wall Street by +0.98% to 7,497.80 points, with shares in companies in the energy sector soaring.
EDP Renováveis advances +2.58% to 9.53 euros; Galp soars +1.7% to 15.53 euros; REN rises +2.04% to 3 euros; and EDP appreciates +1.50% to 3.593 euros.
With the exception of BCP, which fell 0.83%, CTT and Ibersol, which are the same as yesterday, all PSI components are in positive territory.
The Lisbon stock exchange started trading this Tuesday with slight gains, on a day of lower volume due to the holiday for Portugal Day, Camões Day and the Portuguese Communities Day.
In Europe there is no clear trend. The Stoxx 600 is up 0.027%; the EuroStoxx 50 is down 0.07%.
The London FTSE gains 0.52%; the French CAC advances 0.04%; the German DAX falls 0.36%; the Italian FTSE MIB loses 0.30% and the IBEX rises 0.10%.
All eyes are on London where negotiations between the United States and China are taking place. It is the second day of tariff negotiations, following talks held on Monday.
Washington wants Beijing to lift restrictions on the export of rare earths (essential for the production of cars, fighter jets, smartphones and nuclear reactor rods), while the Asian giant wants the US to ease restrictions on the export of advanced semiconductors.
The two countries need to reach an agreement, but both sides defend their interests and want guarantees that the agreement will be fulfilled.
The topic came onto the agenda with the President of the United States wanting to balance the country's trade balance.
